工业和信息化部数据显示，截至2023年11月，国家高新技术产业开发区总数达178家。前三季度，国家高新区生产总值12.33万亿元，同比增长7.11%。

China's total number of national high-tech industrial development zones had reached 178 as of the end of November, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. In the first three quarters of this year, the economic output of these high-tech zones hit 12.33 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.11 percent.

建立国家高新技术产业开发区，是党中央、国务院为发展我国高新技术产业、调整产业结构、推动传统产业改造、增强国际竞争力作出的重大战略部署。国家高新区设立35年来，特别是党的十八大以来，走出了一条具有中国特色的高新技术产业化道路，成为我国重要创新策源地、体制机制改革试验田、高成长企业和高端产业集聚的重要载体，为我国高质量发展作出了重要贡献。

近年来，国家高新区发挥高质量发展先行示范作用，成为经济发展的重要引擎。依托国家高新区，一批高科技产业集群培育壮大，成为推进新型工业化发展、保障产业链供应链安全的重要力量。从基地平台看，国家高新区聚集了近80%的全国重点实验室、70%的国家制造业创新中心。从研发投入看，国家高新区企业研发投入超万亿元。从成果产出看，智能机器人、卫星导航等一批引领性原创成果在高新区加速产业化。

工业和信息化部表示，将推动更多国家战略科技力量和重大创新基地平台向国家高新区布局，支持有条件的国家高新区深度参与建设国家先进制造业集群，通过“揭榜挂帅”等方式，让更多的企业牵头开展基础研究、技术创新、成果转化和产业化。还将鼓励有条件的高新区围绕重点产业链，建设一批科技成果产业化基地、中试熟化基地等，推动更多科技成果从“实验室”走向“生产线”。

要以科技创新为引领，加强关键核心技术攻关，促进传统产业转型升级，加快培育世界级高端产业集群，加快构建现代化产业体系，不断提升国际经济中心地位和全球经济治理影响力。
